Heritage Quilt Days-2012 to open | Arts & Culture

PERRYVILLE, MO (KFVS) - The Perry County Lutheran Historical Society's Lutheran Heritage Center and Museum announced their Heritage Quilt Days-2012 will open Friday, Feb. 3.

The exhibit for the year will feature "Lynne Taylor-Master Quilter." Taylor has won numerous Best of Show awards in national and international quilting competitions, including the 2011 Best Miniature Quilt at the National Quilt Museum in Paducah.

The show will be open through Monday, April 30 and will feature miniature and full-size quilts.

A traveling exhibit from the National Quilt Museum will be featured in May-June with other quilting displays to follow throughout the year.

The museum is located at 75 Church Street in Altenburg, Mo. They are open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and admission is free.
