Christmas Country Church Tour Dec. 21-22 | Community Spirit

CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - The Christmas Country Church Tour will be Friday, December 21 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, December 22 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Janet Fielder says last year, the little church in New Wells had 504 visitors and St. Joseph in Apple Creek had over 700 visitors.

The tour will feature over 20 church in Cape Girardeau, Bollinger and Perry Counties in Missouri. All churches will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The following churches will be participating this year:

• Peace Lutheran Church - Friedenberg (PCR 302)
• Zion Lutheran Church - Longtown (6483 S. Highway 61)
• Grace Lutheran Church - Uniontown (53 Grace Ln)
• St. Joseph Catholic Church - Apple Creek (St. Joseph Ln)
• St. Maurus Catholic Church - Biehle (10198 Hwy B)
• Trinity Lutheran Church - Friedheim (3700 CR 415) Friday
• New Salem Methodist - Daisy (Hwy AA .5 mile west of Hwy B)
• First Baptist Church - Oak Ridge (4154 Hwy E)
• Sargent's Chapel - (B to AA 266 to 234)
• Caney Fork Baptist Church - off Hwy B (CR 472) Friday Only
• St. John's United Church of Christ - Fruitland (781 State Hwy FF)
• Pleasant Hill Presbyterian - Fruitland (end of CR 541)
• Apple Creek Presbyterian - Pocahontas (junction of CR 530 and CR 543, .8 miles east of Pocahontas)
• St. John's Lutheran Church - Pocahontas (158 Little St)
• Zion Lutheran Church - Pocahontas (264 Pocahontas Main St)
• Trinity Lutheran Church - Shawneetown (175 Shawneetown Rd)
• Immanuel Lutheran Church - New Wells (320 CR 516)
• Trinity Lutheran Church - Altenburg (57 Church St)

Organizers say the event is free, but a free-will donation may be given at each church for its charity.
