Neurosurgery clinic expands in Perry County | Community Spirit
PERRY COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - Perry County Memorial Hospital proudly announces the expansion of their onsite neurosurgical clinic.
Kevin A. Vaught, MD, FACS, a board certified neurosurgeon with Brain & NeuroSpine Clinic of Missouri, has expanded his neurosurgical clinic on the campus of Perry County Memorial Hospital to include an onsite clinic every Monday.
Dr. Vaught’s commitment to patient care led him to fulfill an unmet medical need in the communities within and surrounding Perry County. Due to patient demand for the complex brain and spine care he provides to this area, Dr. Vaught is expanding his clinic to be onsite at Perry County Memorial Hospital now every Monday.
In addition to complex brain and spine care services, Dr. Vaught also provides coordinated non-surgical and pain management care along with Dr. Manchanda who offers a pain management clinic on the PCMH campus as well.
“Back and neck pain can be debilitating, completely disrupting a person’s quality of life,” Vaught said. “It is my privilege to provide even greater access to patients who suffer from back and neck pain so they can begin a path to recovery.”
“In addition,” he said, “it is an honor to work with Perry County Memorial Hospital and I am grateful for the opportunity to expand my clinic availability to the residents of Perry County.”
Should surgery be recommended for patients, the community can receive care close to home for certain procedures as Dr. Vaught has surgical privileges at Perry County Memorial Hospital. Further, his Perry County clinic hours are now every Monday from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.
