2 charged after police search home on warrant, find drugs | Crime
PERRY COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - Two men were arrested Monday, August 27 after police found drugs inside a home.
Seth A. Adams, 23, was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. He is being held at the Perry County Jail on $40,000 cash or approved surety bond.
Charles J. Trione, 23, was charged with unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. The sheriff's office says Trione was issued a summons and released.
The Perry County Sheriff's Office says officers went to Adams' home at 764 PCR 838 on Monday to help a Probation and Parole Officer with a contact appointment. They say the officer believed there were multiple people at the home and asked the sheriff's office to participate for security purposes. When the other officers arrived, they went in the home and found drugs and paraphernalia.
The sheriff's office seized the home and applied for a search warrant. They say when the search warrant was issued, the home was searched and numerous drugs and paraphernalia was found and seized as evidence; including about one-fourth pound of marijuana and syringes.
According to the sheriff's office Adams and Trione lived at the home.
