3 from Perryville facing child sexual abuse charges | Crime
PERRYVILLE, MO (KFVS) - The Perry County Sheriff's Department says three people have been arrested Wednesday following charges of child sexual abuse.
Daniel S. Fortner, 37, from Perryville was charged on a class a felony child molestation, first degree with victim under 12 years old; class c felony sexual misconduct with child under 15 years old; class d felony failure to register as a sex offender and two counts of class d felony furnishing pornographic material to a minor, second degree. Fortner is being held in the state of Illinois pending extradition.
Chase A. Knapp, 29, from Perryville was charged with class b felony child molestation, first degree; and class d felony sexual misconduct involving a child under 15 years of age. The sheriff's department says the incident took place in July of 2012. His bond was set at $5,000 cash only.
Kayla L. Pulliam, 24, from Perryville was charged with class c misdemeanor attempt/child molestation/2nd degree and class c misdemeanor sexual misconduct, 3rd degree. According to the sheriff's department, the incident took place in July 2012. Pulliam was arrested, booked and released on criminal summons.
