PCMH to host 2nd Annual Coaches Clinic | Events

PERRYVILLE, MO (KFVS) - Perry County Memorial Hospital and Perry County Orthopedics and Sports Medicine will be hosting the 2nd Annual PCMH Coaches Clinic on Saturday, April 21.

This free one day event will provide community league coaches and/or high school coaches and athletic directors the opportunity to attend a wide variety of seminars related to sports presented by health care professionals. Topics include discussion on breathing techniques, concussions, age appropriate weight training, risks of performance drugs and hands on taping clinics.

“We are excited to be able to host this free clinic for the community,” said Patrick Carron, President/CEO of PCMH. “We are fortunate to live in a community that offers numerous sports programs. With support from our orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Joseph Byrne and our current medical staff, we felt offering this clinic for our local coaches was a great way to not only support what they do, but also to provide some additional education they can utilize on the field, the track, the pool, or wherever they may be.”
