PERRY COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - The Missouri Department of Transportation says Route 51 will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction while crews replace the navigation lights on the bridge.

The bridge is located over the Mississippi River into Illinois.

Weather permitting, crews will be working until Friday, Aug. 31 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

MoDOT says the work zone will be marked with signs. Drivers are urged to use extreme caution while in the area.
