Perryville Board of Alderman votes for interim police chief | News
PERRYVILLE, MO (KFVS)- The Perryville Board of Alderman voted unanimously Monday night to recommend appointing Lt. Direk Hunt as the interim police chief.
The board voted that Hunt fill the position through the current term until April 2014.
Lt. Hunt has been acting as the head of logistics and daily operations since February 14 when former police chief Keith Tarrillion took a voluntary leave of absence.
Tarrillion later resigned as Perryville Police Chief.
Accusation ranging from sexual harassment to misuse of city funds were made against Tarrillion in February by a member of the police department.
