Michelle sent us these pictures of her children, Brandie, 3, and Devin, 6 months, with Santa. She says the pictures were taken days before their father, who was active duty Air Force, was deployed for six months to fight the drug war in South America. She says they were stationed at Holloman, AFB in New Mexico only three months when he left. She says she packed the kids into the car and drove nearly two days to be home with family in the rural community of Devener, in the spillway, just outside of Anniston, Mo., so they didn’t have to celebrate alone.
